Hosted at the Auditorium Parco della Musica (newly renamed after Ennio Morricone) and other great places all over the city, the 16th edition of Festa del Cinema, Rome’s annual renowned film festival which took place from October 14th to October 24th, 2021, had Thalie Paris make its debut.
It was in 2007 at this event that Oscar-winning Italian star actress Sophia Loren was bestowed a lifetime achievement award; Rome film fest has maintained the tradition of paying tribute to various Italian personalities of the industry.
The choice of film was emblematic of the best of Italian cinema while not ignoring a global presence as the selection brought films from 23 diverse countries. Beginning with The eyes of Tammy Faye and finishing with Eternals starring Angelina Jolie.
While the international premieres were extraordinary with protagonists from Quentin Tarantino to Johnny Depp, the Red Carpet event of this edition did not fail to captivate the audience with the looks of the big guns of cinema.
Alongside Jessica Chastain, the first notable female celebrity who inaugurated the Red Carpet of Rome Film Fest 2021, presenting the film "The eyes of Tammy Faye", award-winning actress, Irene Antonucci exuded class and elegance with her beautiful recycled salmon leather clutch in hand----Thalie Paris’ “Pochette Amour”.
Made in Florence by some of the finest artisans working for luxury brands like Fendi and Dolce & Gabbana Haute Couture, this eco-friendly bag was created for the audacious woman who does not want to compromise on styling and functionality but understands the importance of not over consuming while using available resources.
Thalie is the first brand to have commercialized bags made with recycled salmon leather from industrial waste and taking them to the Red Carpet.
