Thalie Paris launches its first NFT bag at Premium Berlin
A pioneer in sustainable luxury, Thalie Paris launched its first NFT bag and presented its "Organic Cactus" SS23 capsule collection alongside the work of designer platform web3 CIDA at the latest PREMIUM trade show in Berlin.
The "first generation" Thalie X CIDA NFT features an augmented reality hologram of the iconic shape of Thalie's bestseller:
LIVIA, a minimalist 1930s-inspired bag in recycled salmon leather with a distinctive triangular patchwork, which was also presented in a collector's glass cube with a unique QR access code for each NFT holder.
At the latest edition of Berlin's PREMIUM trade fair, held from July 7 - 9, Thalie Paris, a pioneering French brand of sustainable luxury handbags, also presented its iconic recycled marine leather bags, as well as its SS23 "Organic Cactus - Vegan" collection, which was displayed on the futuristic upcycled furniture design created by CIDA.
CIDA was born out of the Mercedes Benz innovation laboratory, with the aim of accelerating the transition to a circular world. The "first generation" of NFT Drop at PREMIUM marked the launch of CIDA's new web3 platform for circular products with collaborations with luxury brands.
Thalie Paris, was founded in 2020 by Nathalie Dionne, CEO of SAS Brand Creatives - a Paris-based creative design studio specializing in sustainable innovation and experiential luxury.
Thalie unveiled its SS23 "Organic Cactus" & vegan collection exclusively at the show, made from a plant-based alternative to leather developed by Mexican company Desserto. Thalie reinterprets its signature triangle patchwork into more organic shapes inspired by the rounded leaves of the cactus, fashioned into chic everyday bags, offering three new key shapes, including the baguette, the bucket and the half moon.
